JD and Shannon are native to Mountain Grove. Both grew up loving the Southern Missouri lifestyle and chose to remain in this area to cattle ranch and raise their own family. They believe this community embraces their beliefs, goals and their children. They know what it takes to have a successful farm and ranch and want to pass on this expansive expertise to their real estate clients. 

JD grew up working in his family’s sale barn and he is also an auctioneer. He and his wife Shannon own Shannon Auctions providing real estate, farm/ranch, estate, and liquidation auctions.  They are always bringing buyers and sellers together. JD’s lifelong experience in farm and ranch gives him the insight to discover every farm and ranch’s potential. 

Shannon grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Mountain Grove where hard work was instilled in her at a young age.  After graduating Shannon worked in banking for four years and then decided real estate was a path she wanted to pursue and she hasn’t looked back since. 

JD and Shannon own and operate a beef cattle ranch south of Mountain Grove running cow/calf pairs and feeder calves.  They have two children who are the center of their world. Alongside real estate, they also own apartment rentals. JD and Shannon are extremely compassionate about agriculture and the western lifestyle.  In their spare time, they enjoy being on the ranch working with their cattle, riding horseback, rodeoing year around with their kids, gardening, going to the river on UTVS, and going to their childrens’ ball games. They are members of Cold Creek Cowboy Church and enjoy spending time with their church family.
